- Troubleshooting: capture layer-filtered frame logs when a link misbehaves.
- Pre-checks before formal testing: find problems before acceptance or conformance tests, which use dedicated suites.

The IEC 104 Test Tool does not perform acceptance testing, conformance testing or certification.

No. The NeoTechX IEC 104 Test Tool is for commissioning, troubleshooting and pre-checks of IEC 104 devices. Formal conformance testing uses dedicated test suites.
Which IEC 104 type IDs does the tool cover?
The tool covers type IDs 1, 9, 11, 21, 30, 34, 35, 100, 101, 103, 107, 110 to 113 and 81 to 86. Other type IDs are not covered.
Does the tool support IEC 62351-5 and TLS?
Yes. The tool connects as an IEC 104 master over TCP or TLS and includes the IEC 62351-5 secure-authentication layer.
How is the tool licensed?
The tool runs on Windows with .NET Framework 4.8.1, and each licence is bound to one computer.
