A new company, built on experience that is not

Neotechx Solutions Inc. is a British Columbia company based in Victoria. We build on control software that has been in field use since 2007, and we focus on two things: lowering demand charges for BC buildings and facilities, and securing the field equipment they already rely on.

Our story, in plain terms

Neotechx Solutions Inc. is a British Columbia company based in Victoria. Its founding team has designed, delivered and supported industrial control and telemetry software since 2007, for water, energy and industrial projects outside Canada, under a previous company.

The company was incorporated in British Columbia in November 2023, and in November 2024 the team moved to Victoria to bring that work to BC. Today we focus on two problems local facilities face: demand charges, and legacy field equipment that still sends its data without encryption.

NeoTechX is a startup, and we say so plainly because it shapes how we work: small, close to our customers, and careful to promise only what we can show. Project references from the team's earlier work are available on request.

The history since 2007 belongs to the founding team's earlier work outside Canada. Neotechx Solutions Inc. was incorporated in British Columbia on November 22, 2023, and has been based in Victoria since November 2024.

The experience behind NeoTechX

The founding technical team brings four disciplines, each in use in the field long before NeoTechX existed.

Telecontrol and protocol security

IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3 and the IEC 62351 security layer, implemented in the team's own protocol stack rather than bought in, and carried on RTUs and gateways in the field.

Control runtime and edge logic

The Linux runtime and its library of more than 400 tested function blocks: the foundation NeoCore is built on, developed and maintained by the same team.

Monitoring and operator interfaces

SCADA and HMI software for operators and control rooms, which became NeoPilot: alarms, trends, reports and browser views.

Field deployment and commissioning

Bringing RTUs, PLCs and gateways into service in water, energy and industrial installations, and supporting them afterwards.

Experience described here belongs to the underlying technology and the founding technical team, before and since NeoTechX was established. NeoTechX itself is newly established in British Columbia.

Where we're heading

We are a young BC company building on control software that has been in field use since 2007, with one goal: make demand management practical for buildings and facilities that large providers overlook. Today we focus on demand charges and secure connectivity. We are developing AI-assisted insights in NeoPilot and will add them as they prove themselves in the field.

Your approval, in writing

Nothing is automated on your site without your sign-off, and your operators can override at any time.

Honest limits

We say what is available, what is in pilot and what is in development, and we decline sites where we cannot help.

Local and Canadian

Based in Victoria, BC. Hosted exclusively in Canadian data centres, supporting BC public bodies' obligations under FOIPPA.
